Privacy
Kleingedruckt collects as little data as possible.
No cookies, no trackers
The public website sets no cookies and loads no third-party resources. There is no advertising and no analytics service. Only the operator's own admin login uses a technically necessary session cookie; visitors never see it.
Page views
The server counts page views per day and path. No cookies are set, and no IP addresses or user agents are stored.
Server logs
The web server or reverse proxy may keep short-lived technical access logs. They are used only for operation and security, not for analysis.
Error reports
The form lets you report an error in a value. The email address is optional and is used only to reply to you.
Translation of quotes
To translate short quotes from policy conditions, those quotes are sent to Anthropic (USA). No personal data is sent.
Paid report
For the paid report you upload your insurance documents. They may contain health data. They are stored on our server in Switzerland and, to produce the report, sent to Anthropic (USA). Anthropic does not use them to train its models.
Payment is handled by Stripe, where we collect your email address. Stripe sets its own cookies on its own domain; neither Stripe nor we set cookies on our domain. We email you the report through our email provider (an SMTP service), which delivers the message.
Uploaded documents and the report are deleted 30 days after payment (automatic deletion runs every hour), earlier on request via the link on your order page. Unpaid orders are deleted after about one day (24 hours plus at most one hour until the next deletion run), and within 5 days after an abandoned payment. Encrypted or local database backups are kept for up to 14 days and then deleted. The PDF copy sent by email sits in your mailbox and with the email provider; it is outside our deletion. The order record itself (email address, amount, date) is kept for 10 years for accounting.
Hosting
The website is hosted in Switzerland.
