Cures and recovery: what supplementary insurance contributes

Basic insurance pays only a small contribution to spa cures and nothing to recovery stays. Supplementary insurances often pay an amount per day for spa or recovery stays prescribed by a doctor, usually with a maximum number of days per year. Some also contribute to transitional care after a hospital stay. Only the exact wording of the conditions is binding.

Information only, not advice, no guarantee. The insurers' own documents are authoritative.
